Mercy is seeking a professional nurse to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process. You will coordinate with other departments, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and evaluate care effectiveness across the team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, care, examination, and treatment room procedures.
• Knowledge of medications and their effects; patient education; self-care program development.
• Proficient in basic computer use and clinical data entry.
• Equipment operation related to clinic specialty.
• Ability to react calmly in emergencies; interpret and apply guidelines and policies.
• Effective communication with patients, staff, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
