Job summary

Jersey Shore University Medical Center, part of Hackensack Meridian Health, seeks an experienced perioperative nurse. You will scrub and circulate across diverse surgical cases in a high-volume OR, supporting surgeons and anesthesiologists while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

The role requires a current NJ RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and CNOR experience. BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a current New Jersey RN license and CNOR certification.
• Maintain BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of CNOR OR experience preferred.
• BSN in progress or commitment to complete within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate on a variety of surgical cases in a busy OR department.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and staff to ensure patient safety.
• Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization during procedures.
• Demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and commitment to continuous education.
