Job summary

Mercy South OR offers opportunities for both new graduate and experienced nurses in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will work five 8-hour days in the OR, with rotation across orthopedic, neurology, and general cases, and a structured residency program starting February 22, 2027.

Incentives include up to $20,000 loan forgiveness for new grads, day-one medical/dental/vision, and education assistance with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN licensure in Missouri or a compact state is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC and other unit-specific credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
