Job summary

JPS Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OR at the Surgical Center Arlington on Day shift. The RN will assess, plan, direct, implement and coordinate patient care for perioperative patients in a fast-paced setting.

Required is a Nursing Diploma or higher with TexasRN licensure; 1+ year of critical care experience is preferred for OR/POH areas, along with periorientation and ACLS/BLS as applicable. Location: Arlington, TX.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or higher required.
• Current Texas RN licensure or reciprocity within 90 days.
• 1+ years of critical care experience preferred for OR/POH areas.
• Completion of required orientation and certifications as per Periop area.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, implement and provide quality patient care.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs and interventions.
• Document in medical records and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
• Discharge planning and patient education.
• Ensure EMTALA compliance for patient transfers as applicable.
