Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• MSN preferred.
• MSN required within 5 years if undergraduate degree is not BSN.
• Previous management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the hospital-based outpatient department at the Carolinas Medical Center campus.
• Recruitment and retention of qualified staff; ensure orientation, education, credentialing and development.
• Budgetary oversight; maintain cost-effective unit with staff involvement.
• Lead performance improvement activities to enhance quality and patient outcomes.
• Promote evidence-based practice and shared governance in nursing.
