Job summary

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing required, with 18 months related experience.
- Current RN license by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- CNOR/CPAN/CPAPA certifications may be preferred depending on area.
Responsibilities
- Lead the staff's nursing activities within the philosophy, standards and goals of University Hospital.
- Serve as clinician, educator, consultant and manager for patient care and team members.
- Maintain required competencies to perform the nurse's role in a safe and legal manner.
- May assist nurse manager with scheduling, quality outcomes and budgeting, and HR responsibilities.
