Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a full-time OR RN to provide direct patient care across all ages in the surgical suite. The role includes coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists, maintaining equipment, supporting pain management, and participating in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Current NV RN license.
• At least one year experience in the Operating Room.
• Current ACLS & BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care for infant through geriatric populations in the surgical environment.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient condition.
• Assist with maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Assess OR readiness and obtain supplies for cases.
