Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking an RN for a full-time CVOR/OR role. The position involves direct patient care across infant to geriatric populations, collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and participation in equipment maintenance and pain management inventory.

Qualifications

• Current NV RN license is required.
• At least 1 year experience in the Operating Room.
• ACLS and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates supportive bedside report using IMAP & SBAR.
• Responds to anxiety or distress and engages Social Services/Pastoral Care as appropriate.
• Provides patient explanations and verbal reassurances consistently.
• Formulates an individualized plan of care and evaluates effectiveness.
• Identifies physical symptoms and takes timely actions.
