Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Nevada is seeking an OR Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift. You will deliver direct patient care across age groups from infants to geriatric patients in a busy surgical environment, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists and maintaining equipment and inventory.

Qualifications

• Current NV RN license.
• At least one year experience in the Operating Room.
• ACLS & BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates bedside report using IMAP & SBAR in partnership with patient in room.
• Takes appropriate actions and documents responses to anxiety or distress; involve Social Services if needed.
• Provides patient explanations and verbal reassurances consistently.
• Forms an individualized plan of care and evaluates its effectiveness.
• Identifies symptoms and takes timely actions during the procedure.
