Qualifications

• RN license required in PA or NJ; active license
• BLS and AHA certifications required
• Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred or completed within 3 years of hire
• Ability to convey respect and collaborate with patients, families and care partners
• Experience in an acute care setting encouraged

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure safe, quality care
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence
• Follow established protocols to minimize risk and ensure safety
• Use information systems to document and communicate care
• Participate in committees and quality improvement activities
• Support precepting and staff development as needed
