New graduates and experienced nurses will undergo a two-phase process with dedicated preceptorship, clinical orientation, and governance. The schedule features a Monday–Friday day shift with potential after-hours exposure as the program progresses.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut nursing license required prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.
• Exposure to perioperative nursing practice environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub nurse assists the surgical team by preparing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and passing tools.
• Circulating nurse manages the OR environment, ensuring equipment readiness, documenting procedures, and coordinating with the team.
