Job summary

Surgical Elite Avondale, part of United Surgical Partners International, invites an experienced OR Manager RN to lead the OR department in its fast-paced ASC environment in Avondale, AZ. You will oversee surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing, ensuring alignment with mission and facility goals.

Candidates should have RN license in Arizona, CNOR preferred, and at least five years in surgical circulator roles with two years in management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree preferred.
• Five (5) years' experience in surgery as circulator.
• Two (2) years' experience in surgery management which includes pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.
• Current Arizona RN License- BLS.
• CNOR preferred- Independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversees OR, anesthesia, and sterile processing services.
• Establishes cost-effective systems to support department needs.
• Develops relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
• Implements improvements using customer satisfaction and staff involvement data.
• Leads in collaboration with Senior Management to meet facility goals.
• Assists as RN Circulator and Scrub Tech as necessary.

• The OR Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals.
• The Manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers.
• This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
• The Manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.
• The Department Manager works with Senior Management in meeting Facility goals.
