St. Luke’s University Health Network offers an Operating Room LPN Internship across multiple campuses, with a full-time competency-based program tailored to adult learners and supervised by the OR Internship coordinator.

Interns will bridge from novice to advanced beginner through supervised hands-on training, seminars, and clinical observations. Ideal candidates include Practical Nurse students graduating soon and eligible to sit NCLEX-PN, or experienced LPN seeking OR exposure.

Formación

• LPN with PA/NJ license to practice.
• On-the-job training with orientation program.
• Ability to work in an OR environment and maintain sterile technique.

Responsabilidades

• Check supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Scrub, gown, glove, and assist surgical team.
• Set up sterile table and ensure equipment is functional.
• Assist with draping and instrument passing during surgery.
• Maintain sterile technique and handle specimens properly.
