The Lead Surgical Technologist serves as an expert perioperative team member supporting Cardiac and Vascular surgical services. This role combines advanced scrub responsibilities with leadership duties focused on OR readiness, instrumentation management, staff support, inventory coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with Central Processing, Materials Management, Clinical Support, Education, and Management teams.
A highly experienced CST with strong Cardiac/Vascular OR expertise, leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, deep knowledge of surgical instrumentation, and a passion for supporting operational excellence and mentoring fellow surgical technologists.
This position is likely best suited for a senior CVOR Surgical Technologist looking to move into a lead-level role while remaining clinically active in the operating room.
