Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist for 36-hour rotating shifts onsite at 1153 Centre Street, Boston. The institution is Magnet Designated with Distinction and operates 16 ORs handling ~1,000 cases monthly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Surgical Technician Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
• Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities.
• Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students.
