Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of sterile processing experience or graduation from an accepted course in sterile processing or surgical technology.
• Proficiency in clinical knowledge, computer use, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs general and specialized instrument care duties.
• Provides supplies as needed for surgical procedures.
• Disassembles and cleans critical reusable medical equipment per MIFU.
• Inspects, packages, and reassembles instruments and trays.
• Applies High Level Disinfection and various sterilization techniques per MIFUs.
• Maintains records and adheres to SOPs and regulatory standards.
