Job summary

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains the sterile field and passes instruments to the physician.
• Assists as directed by the physician during surgical procedures.
• Uses the physician preference card as a starting point when pulling cases and setting up the OR.
• Maintains a safe environment with aseptic practices at all times.
• Demonstrates competency in handling surgical supplies, instruments and equipment.
