• Carry a department phone or vocera and inform supervisor/charge technologist of staffing needs.
• Assign technologists to cases and perform cases themselves.
• Facilitate movement of equipment to proper locations for current and future cases.
• Communicate equipment service calls or failures to the supervisor and attend OR huddles when possible.
