Job summary

AdventHealth in Chatsworth, GA is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Associate to maintain clean patient rooms, nursing units, offices, and clinical areas in a sanitary condition.

You will follow infection control practices, transport waste, replenish supplies, and perform terminal cleans of surgical areas as assigned, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 4pm–12:30am at our 707 Old Dalton Ellijay Rd facility.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv Preferred.
• 1+ related experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, lounges, restrooms, and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
• Terminally cleans surgical rooms and operating rooms as assigned.
• Utilizes appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and maintains equipment properly.
• Manages policies and procedures related to specific units and ensures compliance with infection control practices, including handwashing techniques, standard precautions, and isolation precautions.
• Transports dirty linens, trash, and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal areas and replenishes supplies as needed.
