Job summary

Tampa General Hospital's ASC, Morsani Surgery Center, seeks a Clinical Nurse for OR/ECHO to provide comprehensive nursing care across Pre Op, PACU, PAT, Endoscopy and OR. Under ASC leadership, you will assess patients, plan and implement care, document findings, and advocate for patient rights in a fast‑paced ambulatory setting.

This role requires strong clinical judgment and clear communication. Florida RN license and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in ambulatory surgery center or operating room preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across Pre Op, PACU, PAT, Endoscopy and OR.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Administer medications and start IVs per ASC standards.
• Monitor patient condition and escalate issues as needed.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post‑operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and staff to ensure safety.
• Uphold HIPAA, infection control, and confidentiality requirements.
