Research Medical Center in Kansas City area is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Operating Room to coordinate nursing care and surgical flows on the designated shift. You will act as a clinical expert, coordinating the nursing process for procedures and supporting staff and physicians in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes patient safety, high-quality, patient-centered care, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from approved school of nursing.
• Current state licensure (RN).
• 1 year perioperative experience as an RN.
• CNOR preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the daily workflow of surgical cases on your shift.
• Coordinate nursing process for patients undergoing procedures in the department.
• May function in circulating and/or scrub roles.
• Assist in meeting staff, MD, and patient needs while maintaining patient safety.
• Contribute to cost control without compromising quality of care.
