Job summary

Research Medical Center seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the OR to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination on the designated shift. The CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serving as a resource for staff and aligning with the facility's mission and values to support outstanding patient outcomes.

Candidates should have RN licensure and at least 1 year perioperative RN experience; CNOR is preferred, and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from approved school of nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• 1 year's perioperative experience as an RN.
• CNOR preferred.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of development, assessment, and care for patients across ages.
• Coordinates daily flow of surgical cases on shift.
• Coordinates nursing process for patients undergoing department procedures.
• May function in circulating and/or scrub roles based on knowledge and experience.
• Assist with meeting staff, MD, and patient needs.
