Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse circulator for the Main OR Team on a short-term contract (12-13 weeks).

This role requires 2-3 years of Operating Room circulating nursing experience, BLS, ACLS, RN license, and AS in Nursing. You will support intra-operative care, patient advocacy, and coordination with physicians and staff.

This assignment is full-time at 36-40 hours per week with on-site work in the Downtown Main Building.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Associate of Science, Nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition.
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care.
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.
• This position will require call.
