Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking an OR Circulator RN to join our Northern Ohio Surgery Center in Cleveland, OH. This PRN role requires availability on Thursdays and additional days as needed, on-site at 300 Allen Bradley Dr, Cleveland.

The RN will monitor patients during the surgical process, manage equipment and lines, and collaborate with the surgical team. CPR and ACLS are required, with a minimum of one year in the OR; orthopedic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN license.
• CPR and ACLS required.
• Minimum 1 year in the OR.
• Orthopedic surgery experience preferred.
• 401(k) retirement plan with a company match.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
• Manages monitoring equipment, fluids, drains and catheters as needed.
• Uses good judgment in determining nursing actions and handles emergencies.
• Maintains CPR/PALS/ACLS certification/recertification as required.
• Makes independent clinical decisions and communicates to appropriate staff.
• Demonstrates a team-oriented approach and efficient use of work time.

Job Title:RN Circulator

General Summary of Duties: Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability through the nursing process, for the surgical care of the Center patient in collaboration with other health care providers.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
• Manages monitoring equipment, fluid lines, tubes, drains and catheters as needed, including support of operative extremity.
• Uses good judgement in determining appropriate nursing action and exhibits control in emergency situations.
• Successfully completes CPR/PALS/ACLS certification/recertification.
• Makes independent clinical decisions as appropriate regarding patient's need for nursing care and communicates same to appropriate personnel.
• Demonstrates a team player attitude and utilized work time efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN license.
• CPR and ACLS required.
• Minimum 1 years in the OR
