Job summary

Marietta Eye Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc, is seeking a RN OR Circulator/Pre/PACU to join our surgical team in Marietta, GA. The role focuses on patient safety in preoperative, intraoperative, and PACU stages and supervising nonprofessional staff under the Director of Surgical Services.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, maintaining sterile technique, preparing the operative area, administering medications per protocols, documenting per policy, and

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Licensure to practice nursing.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum one year of preoperative or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Professional association membership is preferred.
• Ability to maintain sterile technique and accurate charting per policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with the surgical team.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for preop, PACU, and emergency carts.
• Explain procedures and provide patient reassurance.
• Assess patient condition and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medications per standing protocols.
• Document all OR activity per company policy.
• Prepare operative area and position patient.
• Follow up with surgeon or patient post-op as needed.
• Uphold sterile technique and policy compliance.
