Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice professional Nursing in the State of Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required or must be obtained within specified timeframes.
• Thorough knowledge of the Nursing Process and perioperative patient care.
• Understanding the legal implications of nursing actions and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR and assist with the surgical team.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies during operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia team to ensure patient safety.
