Job summary
Cape Coral Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Operating Room Circulator to support preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care. The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program and a current RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
The candidate will assess and plan care, document thoroughly, and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License (RN).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Knowledge of JCAHO standards and the Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
- Assess patient health and plan care.
- Document care accurately in patient records.
- Communicate with staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to policies.
