Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Tampa, FL is seeking an OR Nurse Circulator to provide comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients. You will prepare the OR, ensure equipment readiness, monitor safety, and document care from prep to PACU handoff.

Responsibilities include collaborating with anesthesia, maintaining infection control standards, and communicating with families. This role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and perioperative experience to support efficient, safe surgeries.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or completion within 90 days of hire; PALS may be required.
• Minimum 2 years perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with aseptic techniques and sterile processing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patient safety and collaborate with the surgical team throughout procedures.
• Document perioperative care and ensure legibility and timeliness of entries.
• Assist anesthesia team and act as liaison with patient and family during updates.
• Perform post-procedure transfers to PACU and handoff with comprehensive reports.
• Adhere to infection control policies and inventory management standards.
