Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc is seeking an RN Circulator on a part-time basis in Ohio to provide perioperative nursing care in collaboration with the surgical team. The successful candidate will monitor patients, manage equipment and lines, and make clinical decisions during procedures. Ohio RN license, CPR/ACLS, and OR experience are required, with orthopedic experience preferred. PTO and a 401(k) are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio is required.
• CPR and ACLS certification are required.
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience.
• Orthopedic surgery experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients throughout the surgical process.
• Manage monitoring equipment, lines, drains, and catheters as needed.
• Provide nursing actions with good judgement in emergencies.
• Communicate needs for patient care to the team.

Job Title:

RN Circulator (Part-Time)

General Summary of Duties:

Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability through the nursing process, for the surgical care of the Center patient in collaboration with other health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
• Manages monitoring equipment, fluid lines, tubes, drains and catheters as needed, including support of operative extremity.
• Uses good judgement in determining appropriate nursing action and exhibits control in emergency situations.
• Successfully completes CPR/PALS/ACLS certification/recertification.
• Makes independent clinical decisions as appropriate regarding patient's need for nursing care and communicates same to appropriate personnel.
• Demonstrates a team player attitude and utilized work time efficiently.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN license.
• CPR and ACLS required.
• Minimum 1 years in the OR
• Orthopedic surgery experience preferred
