Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC is seeking an experienced RN Circulator to oversee the surgical patient’s care in collaboration with the healthcare team. The role requires monitoring through the operative process and proficient use of monitoring equipment.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, and CPR/ACLS certifications with at least two years in the OR. Competitive benefits accompany this position and ongoing professional readiness is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN license.
• CPR and ACLS required.
• Minimum 2 years in the OR.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
• Manages monitoring equipment, fluid lines, tubes, drains and catheters as needed, including support of operative extremity.
• Uses good judgement in determining appropriate nursing action and exhibits control in emergency situations.
• Successfully completes CPR/PALS/ACLS certification/recertification.
• Makes independent clinical decisions as appropriate regarding patient's need for nursing care and communicates same to appropriate personnel.
• Demonstrates a team player attitude and utilizes work time efficiently.
