Advocate Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to function as an Operating Room Circulator. This role supports OR suites across multiple surgical specialties, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow.

You will assess patients, assist with anesthesia, manage sterile technique, and collaborate with the surgical team. The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing program credential, an active RN license in Wisconsin, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong preference for RN with OR experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver individualized care using the nursing process.
• Monitor and respond to patient condition changes.
• Promote patient safety and verify patient identity, allergies, and surgical site.
• Educate patients and families for discharge readiness.
• Coordinate care and discharge planning across teams.
• Lead and delegate to support staff.
• Engage in quality improvement and ongoing professional growth.
• Manage patient care in the OR including time outs, positioning, and documentation.
