Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics in Plymouth, MN is seeking an Operating Room Circulator – Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in the OR of our Surgery Center. This full-time role runs 0700-1730, Monday through Friday, with start times varying by case volume.

The RN will prepare the surgical suite, maintain an aseptic environment, assist with supplies, document patient status, and collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient care throughout the intraoperative

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure as an RN in MN or WI multi-state.
• BLS certification required or completed upon hire.
• Prior OR experience in the last 5 years preferred.
• AORN membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses instrumentation, supply and equipment needs based on the scheduled procedure, assesses patient need, and physician preferences.
• Assists in obtaining equipment and supplies and preparing the surgical suite.
• Maintains an aseptic environment throughout the intraoperative process.
• Assists with picking supplies and instrumentation for cases as needed.
• Supports anesthesia and provides patient care during induction, emergence, and intraoperative phases.
• Completes patient records accurately and documents responses to interventions.
