Job summary

Jobot is seeking a passionate Full-time, permanent Registered Nurse - OR Circulator to join our orthopedic-focused surgical team in Hartford, CT. The role emphasizes patient care in the operating room, with a day shift schedule and no call or weekend requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN, CT RN licensure, and have at least 2 years circulating experience (1 year in orthopedics). BLS and ACLS are required; CNOR is preferred. Excellent benefits and lunch provided daily are offered.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current Connecticut RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of circulating experience, including at least 1 year in orthopedics.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgery and set up instruments and equipment.
• Maintain sterile conditions and verify patient identity and procedure.
• Assess patients pre-operatively and support anxiety reduction.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Coordinate with surgical team and communicate patient information.
• Monitor vital signs and patient safety during surgery.
• Coordinate post-operative care and room turnover.
• Document actions and communicate any irregularities.
• Engage in ongoing education to maintain competency.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
