Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking an OR Circulator (RN) for full-time, first shift. The RN circulator plays a pivotal role in managing nursing care in the OR to ensure a safe, efficient surgical environment and collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.

The role requires active RN licensure in Kentucky, BLS, and at least two years of perioperative experience, with a preference for an ADN with a BSN.

Qualifications

• Two years of varied perioperative services experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Completion and maintenance of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate holistic care of the patient in the OR and perioperative setting.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and interventions per nursing process.
• Educate patients and families regarding plan of care, procedures and treatments.
• Delegate tasks and provide oversight to team members in patient care activities.
