Job summary

H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery in Chapel Hill, NC, seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to support OR accreditation, pre‑op, post‑op recovery, and intraoperative circulating duties. Workdays are Monday–Friday with shifts roughly 6:30 am–6:00 pm, four days a week.

You'll collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to promote patient health, develop nursing care plans, and ensure safe, compassionate perioperative care for surgical patients.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years PACU/recovery and OR circulating experience.
• Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room with necessary equipment for surgical cases.
• Prepare and administer medications.
• Assist Anesthesia providers as needed.
• Prepare patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting areas to be operated on.
• Remain in the room to assist with any needs.
• Intraoperative charting.
• Stock operating rooms with sterile equipment, linens, and supplies.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans for surgical patients.
• Establish personal rapport to identify patient care requirements.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Promote patient independence through education on condition and self-care.
