Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso, TX is seeking a OR - Operating Room Charge Nurse (RN) for a full-time nursing role. The charge nurse will guide and supervise staff, manage patient flow, and coordinate with physicians to ensure delivery of high-quality care.

Responsibilities include admissions, transfers and discharges, chart review, and maintaining safety standards. Requires an accredited nursing degree, Texas RN license, and BLS certification, with ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed, certified, or registered to practice nursing as required by Texas law.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in a clinical setting.
• AHA BLS. ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and supervision to nursing staff and support personnel.
• Direct patient flow, admissions, transfers and discharges within the unit.
• L liaise with physicians and administrators; communicate protocol changes.
• Ensure compliance with health/safety regulations; maintain accurate records.
