Job summary

Dallas Regional Medical Center in Rockwall, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead in the operating room. This full-time day-shift role offers a sign-on bonus and requires strong OR leadership; CNOR and BSN are preferred.

You will coordinate staffing, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and technicians to maintain efficient surgical flow. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in an acute care OR and current RN licensure, with BLS, ACLS, and preferred PALS.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification at hire and ongoing.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS certification at hire and maintained (preferred).
• 5+ years in acute care OR setting (preferred).
• CNOR within 2 years (preferred).
• BSN degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care with clinical leadership in the OR.
• Coordinate staff assignments, surgical schedules, and daily OR workflow.
• Direct and guide nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care, patient safety, and infection prevention.
• Work with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Respond quickly to clinical concerns, staffing needs, and changes in surgical workflow.
