Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified program in Central Processing.
• Central Services Technician National Certification (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
• Three (3) years of CPD, OR, or supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage accuracy and completion of case carts.
• Facilitate case cart preparation for add-on cases.
• Ensure timely flow of instrumentation and equipment.
• Communicate OR needs to sterile processing supervisors.
• Set priorities for processing and decontamination.

Skills

Operation of departmental equipment

Knowledge of instrumentation

Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Instrument Tracking)
