Job summary

Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO seeks an OR Environmental Services Technician to support the perioperative team. You will help maintain a clean, safe operating room environment, assist with patient handling and transfers, and ensure supplies and equipment are ready for procedures.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with 10-hour shifts from 11:00am to 9:30pm, four days per week. AHA BLS is required within 30 days; Freeman offers comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in OR environment and environmental sanitation encouraged.
• Ability to assist with safe patient handling and transfers under RN guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, clean environment in the OR by performing housekeeping tasks.
• Assist staff with safe patient handling, transfers, and movement of equipment under supervision.
• Stock supplies, transport specimens and blood products, and move equipment in and out of the OR suite.
