Job summary

Qualifications

• AHA BLS certification or equivalent required, to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in hospital cleaning, sanitation, and operating room support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, clean environment for patients and staff in the surgical department through environmental sanitation.
• Assist staff with safe patient handling, movement, and transfers under the guidance of the registered nurse.
• Serve as an assistant in the operating room, managing supplies, transporting specimens and blood products, and moving equipment as needed.
