Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists in the operating room. You will help prepare and set up equipment, assist with patient care, and ensure all supplies are ready for each surgical case.

You will operate and maintain routine anesthesia equipment, monitor blood samples as needed, and apply sterile technique in a fast-paced hospital environment. Experience in the OR and a commitment to patient safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in the OR and familiarity with OR supplies.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and asepsis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up equipment and supplies for each surgical case.
• Connect monitoring lines, prepare infusion sets, and apply to patients.
• Operate common physiological monitors and assist during procedures.
