Mayo Clinic is recruiting an Anesthesia Tech to support anesthesia and nursing teams in surgical and procedural areas. The role involves handling supplies, medications, and blood products, and ensuring ORs and pre/post rooms are prepared and stocked for safe operations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be proficient in English, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Prior clinical experience and collaboration within a team are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required
• Proficient in speaking and reading English
• Computer skills required; MS Office/Windows experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology helpful
• Ability to lift over 20 lbs and stand long periods
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within six months

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia and nursing teams in surgical and procedural areas
• Prepare and stock operating rooms and pre/post areas
• Handle blood products, medications, and supplies during procedures
• Maintain infection control practices and clean equipment
• Assist in patient intake with vitals and monitoring devices as needed
• Respond to emergency safety equipment checks and participate in code team
