Job summary

Tallgrass MLP Operations, LLC seeks a Training Coordinator to develop and deliver DOT-compliant training across field operations in the Sterling, VA area. You will coordinate learning programs, qualify staff, and support inspections while aligning with policy requirements and OQ standards.

The role requires collaboration with SMEs, experience in technical training design, and the ability to manage multiple projects under deadline.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; five years in crude oil/natural gas pipeline ops may substitute.
• Direct experience developing and delivering technical training curricula.
• Knowledge of DOT Part 192/195 related to Operator Qualification.
• Proven safe work practices and reliability in field environments.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints and interpret measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training materials on company products, processes, and technologies.
• Select training aids and prepare lesson plans relevant to training material.
• Monitor personnel records to ensure training requirements are met for compliance.
• Lead efforts to standardize progression testing and create curricula aligned with assets and products.
• Support federal inspections and maintain Operator Qualification on assigned tasks.
