Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Optometry Physician for locum tenens support in Santa Rosa, CA. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00am–5:00pm, in an outpatient setting focused on eye care.

The role includes routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, eye urgencies and emergencies, and medical optometry for patients aged 4 and up. BLS certification and an active California license are required, with credentialing typically 45–60 days.

Qualifications

• Active California license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide optometry care including routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, and management of eye emergencies.
• Treat patients aged 4 and up with medical optometry in an outpatient setting.
• Coordinate patient care with timely credentialing (45–60 days) and EPIC EMR usage.
