Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Optometry Physician for locum tenens support in Fresno, CA. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, in an outpatient clinic setting where routine eye exams and contact lens fittings are performed.

The position requires an active California optometry license, CPR and glaucoma certifications, and EPIC EMR experience. Credentialing typically completes in 45–60 days; compensation is hourly and includes malpractice insurance plus travel, lodging, and transportation

Responsibilities

• Perform routine eye exams and contact lens fittings in an outpatient clinic.
• Manage redeye, eye urgencies and emergencies.

This facility is seeking an Optometry Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic
• Types of Cases: Routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, redeye, eye urgencies, and emergencies
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45 – 60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications Required: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Card and Glaucoma Certified
• Licensure Required: Active California license is required
