Job summary

Vision Source of Worcester and Spencer is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Project Manager to lead day-to-day coordination of a multicenter study, connecting coordinating sites with participating sites nationwide. This role reports to the Principal Investigator for clinical trial duties and involves cross-training with in-practice duties.

The position offers on-site work in Worcester, MA, with travel to other locations as needed and remote approval up to 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical trials project management (required).
• Strong working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and IRB processes.
• Experience coordinating multi-site clinical trials across locations.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent site-level workstreams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with investigators and research staff.
• Proficiency with standard data-collection tools (e.g., REDCap) and Microsoft/Google tools.
• Willingness to cross-train and work in a clinical optometry setting; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the multicenter trial across sites.
• Coordinate patient recruitment and enrollment activities.
• Track protocol adherence and resolve deviations.
• Manage study visit schedules and enrollment timelines.
• Support data transfer and data preparation for analysis.
• Assist with regulatory approvals and IRB reliance agreements.
• Maintain regulatory binder and eRegulatory system.
• Coordinate device and supply logistics for sites.
• Assist with sponsor reporting and manuscript preparation.
