Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the welcoming face of our exam practice and guide patients through initial steps of the vision care journey.

Responsibilities include handling patient records, introducing patients to the OD, and ensuring a smooth transition from exam to sales while supporting store operations and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient service preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products/services.
• Assist with store operations to support exam lane maintenance and patient experience.
