Job summary
Aria Care Partners is seeking a part-time Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician to support onsite clinics. You will arrive early to set up, transport patients within a multi-clinic radius, and assist doctors with vision pretesting and scribing as needed.
The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and EMR experience. Training will be provided for note transcription and software usage, with mileage reimbursement and potential overnight lodging for distant locations.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to clinics within a 3-hour radius.
- Optometry/Ophthalmic technician experience preferred but not mandatory.
- 1+ year EMR documentation experience (medications, ICD-10, notes).
- Ability to transcribe basic medical notes; training provided.
- Assist escorting or transporting elderly up to 200 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the clinic before the doctor to setup at the facility.
- Transport patients to and from the exam area.
- Assist the doctor with vision pretesting and scribing as needed.
