Job summary

Aria Care Partners is a national leader providing onsite dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care across 25 states. The role supports optometry/ophthalmic services by setting up with the doctor, transporting patients, and assisting with vision pretesting and basic scribing in multiple facilities.

The position is full-time, covering a home-market radius up to 3 hours; lodging is provided for locations beyond 2.5 hours, with mileage reimbursement and paid drive time.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive to clinics within a 3-hour radius; reliable transportation required.
• Optometry/Ophthalmic technician experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior EMR documentation experience is preferred ( medications, ICD-10, preliminary findings).
• Ability to transcribe basic medical notes into a computer; training on software provided.
• Escort elderly walking clients or transport in wheelchairs up to ~200 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the clinic before the doctor to set up at the facility.
• Transport patients to and from the exam area at the facility.
• Assist the doctor with vision pretesting and scribing as needed.
