We are seeking a Per Diem Optometrist for our growing organization!

In this role, you will diagnose, manage, and treat conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system. Examine eyes and the visual system, diagnose problems or impairments, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide treatment. May prescribe therapeutic drugs to treat specific eye conditions.

Requirements include:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program.
• Active state optometry license.
• Valid CPR certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of optometrist experience.
• Understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to convey courtesy and empathy for diverse patients.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Ability to understand and follow study instructions, protocols, and procedures in clinical research.

This is a per diem position primarily based in our Fair Lawn, NJ office.
